Matt Ward is a very versatile young artist and a triple threat in Hollywood. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Ward started dancing self-taught as a teenager. He is already an accomplished dancer, singer, choreographer and actor. Ward currently stars on the Freeform series The Bold Type, which reveals a glimpse into the outrageous lives and loves of those responsible for the fictional global women’s magazine, Scarlet. He portrays the role of Alex Crawford, a staff writer for Scarlet Magazine who recently got laid off from his dream job at the Wall Street Journal and has taken a job at Scarlet because he refuses to let New York defeat him.
Ward portrayed Simon Lacroix, otherwise known as the DC Comics villain Komodo, in an episode of season three of Arrow on The CW.
